Aarushi murder case : Rajesh-Nupur acquitted on benefit of doubt
On Thursday, the Allahabad High Court acquitted Rajesh-Nupur Talwar on the benefit of doubt in the case of Aarushi Murder case. In 2013, the CBI court sentenced the Talwar couple to life imprisonment while convicting them.
At the moment, there are some important reasons that can be understood that the Swarup couple got the benefit of doubt. On May 16, 2008, 14-year-old Aarushi was hanged in the Noida’s Jalvayu Vihar residence.
Reasons for benefit of doubt
There is no immediate release of blood in the head of Hemraj where injury happened. The hair was thick too that stopped the blood. The judge summoned the doctor and the CBI asked to give a demo. Seeing him, the doctor said that blood should have fallen after such a deep injury in the head. That is, Hemraj’s murder has not happened in the room.
The maid Bharti was first at the scene. She said earlier- I am giving the same statement as explained. There was a mistake in writing the statement. The correct statement was- “What I understood, I am giving the same statement.”
The door was closed at the time of the murder. Two out of four were murdered. The two survivors are the only killers. It is proved in the High Court that the door was open. External could come out. Wine bottles are the proof.
There was a sexual assault on Aarushi. Post mortem doctor has testified and it is proved in the High Court that the doctor gave feedback on the basis of subjective findings. There was no evidence to prove that Hemraj was murdered in Aarushi’s room.
