India beat Australia to take a 3-0 lead in the series
India defeated Australia by 5 wickets in the third match of the one-day series. With this win, India also took an unbeatable 3-0 lead in the ODI series. In the match, Australia first scored 293/6 in 50 overs. In reply, Team India won the match by 5 wickets in 48 overs.
Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma gave a tremendous start to Team India while chasing the target. Together, they added 139 runs for the first wicket. India lost the first wicket in 21.4 overs when Rohit Sharma (71) was caught at the ball of Coulter Nile.
After a while, India’s second wicket fell in 23.3 overs too. When Pat Cummins made Ajinkya Rahane (70) lbw.Captain Virat Kohli (28) was dismissed as the third wicket. He was caught by Finch on the bowling of Ashton Eggar in 34.3 overs.
Kedar Jadhav (2) was also dismissed after one over. Kane Richardson’s ball was caught by Hanscomb at 35.2 overs. Both of these wickets fell under 3 runs.
Pandya hits big
Hardik Pandya made 78(75) performing as a all-rounder in the match. This is the fourth fifty of his ODI career. He hits 4 sixes and 5 boundaries during his innings.
The hosts scored 293 runs in 6 wickets in 50 overs, before batting first by winning the toss. Aaron Finch scored 124 and Steve Smith 63 in the innings. On behalf of India, Bumrah and Kuldeep took 2-2 wickets.
