NCC student drowning incident captured in the selfie
A student of NCC camp in Karnataka’s Ramanagar district died after drowning in a pond. The deceased was a student of National College here. The incident took place when a group of students who were accompanying him were busy taking selfies while standing on the edge.
According to the police, the group of 25 college students went to the NCC tracking camp.
During this time some students went to bath in the pond with the help of teachers. Students ignored the danger warning board outside the pond and jumped into it.
During this time, ‘Vishwas’ went into floating deep water and was drowned in the pond.
The identity of the drowning of ‘Vishwas’ came to the rest of the students when they came out of the pond but all these incidents were imprisoned in the picture of selfie which the students had taken on the side of the pond.
According to the police, during the drowning of ‘Vishwas’, the students were watching in the camera and their friend drowned in the water behind.
On Tuesday afternoon, the body of ‘Vishwas’ was taken out of the water, after which the parents were informed of the incident.
The parents of ‘Vishwas’ filed an FIR alleging negligence on college management for the incident.
